I woke up this morning excited to go for my morning run! i felt energetic and ready for the day. i I had a banana and then hit the pavement. For breakfast I had three eggs and some avocado. Pretty simple and easy.
I had to get a few groceries so I stopped into Target. I was excited to try out a frappucino from Starbucks with just espresso and coconut milk. I went to try it and realized that it tasted somewhat sweet. I could have swarn she added sugar but she assured me it was just the coconut milk. Later I found out that there was sugar in it! I was so disappointed. Immediaetely I threw the frapp away. Well, that was a bust! ug. Now, TECHNICALLY i need to start over again, but, I won't be introducing sugar back into my diet until after at least 32 whole days, since you gradually add things back in, and sugar isn't until several days later, so, I might choose to keep going forward. I came home and made my own frap. Yep. Not nearly as good. AHA. AHA.
I was super busy today with running, dentist appointment, errand running, cleaning, caring for baby girl, making dinner, than lastly I did three clients (I'm a hairstlyst, don't get any crazy ideas here) so all in all I really didn't even have time to be tempted with any naughty no no foods!!! YAY!!!
Lunch was taco salad. The hubs is a lucky ducky because his got to include greek yogurt
(which tastes mostly like sour cream to me), cheddar cheese, and pasta sauce. Eh, mine was ok...I subbed the pasta sauce (which would have been Whole 30 approved if not for the darn added sugar!!!) with some tomato paste, and it wasn't too dry. We both had it with roaming lettuce, ground beef, onion, spices, and...somehthing else I'm missing???
For dinner I made a recipe in the Whole 30 Book. Something by the name of Chicken and Sweet Potato hash?? Well, anyway, here it is:

After I finished up working, I treated myself to some more watermelon and will probably finish of the day with some Sweet and Spicy Tea from Good Earth. I SO can't believe this tea doesn't have added sugar. They MUST have added it somewhere. It is WAY too good to be on the approved list. Hmm. I'll keep looking for any sneaky unwritten hidden away ingredients. BUT, until I find any, I'll sip on!
G'night y'all. Read your bible and go to bed now. 👍🏻
